Customer Reviews

It gets no better than this.I truly recommend this to anyone who like a clean wireless cable look for there cable management. It was easy to install. Just peel the 3DM tape off and stick it under your PC desk.Just be sure to take some time out of your day to set your cable management up. 5A Solid Choice for Cable ManagementI bought this cable raceway after watching many a YouTube video detailing cable management that really cleans up the look of complex computer setups. I think we all can agree that wires are not attractive. Okay, the one exception may be the EarPods versus the AirPods, where the latter is actually the worse of two evils asthetically speaking. Regardless, computer cables are hideous. This cable raceway is a significant component to ridding yourself of cable spaghetti as it enables you to simultaneously hide all wiring under a desk while providing support for such wires from end to end. This particular raceway has thick plastic, so don t go in thinking a knife or scissors will do the trick if you need to cut it down to size. Additionally, the adhesive may appear weak, but it s held a full load for me for many months up to now. One negative I encountered is that the raceway comes in a long box with no interior packaging, which resulted in my initial shipment being returned due to the double sided tape separating from the plastic. Amazon was quick to send a replacement and it worked out fine. The packaging needs work to ensure the product is delivered without damage, but the product itself is excellent. I highly recommend you pick one up if you re looking to clean up the look of your setup.Update 6/2019:The packaging has been updated so it comes in a box within a box. That was a smart move and should all but eliminate damage during delivery. 5Overall I'm pleased with the end resultWorked incredibly well to help me hide *most* of the cable clutter at my desk. There's a few cables that still can be seen hanging, but not many, and that's because the cables are too short. That is not a problem with this product. Overall I'm pleased with the end result. 5Small and hidden cable management.I used this and another product https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004M8SSW8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for my main cable management, along with some Velcro ties.I'll give you the before and after pictures, they should speak for themselves. The one complaint I had about this product is that I wish it was a larger channel, as it felt like I was having to force the wires in (once in they were fine). However that was more on my part as I should have read the specs more carefully. 4It is what it is - but make sure! The product looks great, installs in less than a minute. But a few tips:1. Make sure you leave a 1/2" on each side, just don't butt it against an edge. You'll want to leave room for cables to come in (easily) both sides.2. Before buying this product, make sure your power cables will route (length wise). I made this mistake. I'm going to have to buy new plugs for my power bricks so they can route and look "pretty".3. Power bricks (even small ones) don't fit in this, nor can they hang on the side. Make sure you account for this before purchasing. 4Glad i boughtUsed my miter saw to cut a clean lineto fit my table. Perfect product for my setup 5Good Product, but with FlawsI built a custom wood desk from Redwood and used this for the rear. Even after sanding (and not applying any finish) with 220 grit, the adhesion was not as good as I would have liked. I know it's the adhesion because I have industrial velcro that I stuck to the bottom without any issues for cable management and it's held cables & a 10-port power strip with zero issues. After learning the adhesion was not up to par for the task, I attempted to pre-drill holes to try and use wood screws to hold it in place. The plastic is too soft and cracked in most instances. While it's not visible once installed, the company should devote resources to better adhesion. Also, the plastic is hard enough that it is somewhat of a pain to manipulate with running cables. It wouldn't be a problem if it's only a few cables, but since I hooked up my 5.1 system to the Battlestation, running 5 satellite speaker wires and all the wires associated with a PC made it tough to revise when you needed to make adjustments. One thing that was convenient about the product is that I had to use a jigsaw to cut multiple pieces and outside of a few particles, the process was easy. I didn't have to use any clamps and I just held it down with body weight and my hand. Good job on that front.Overall, I give 3 stars for the adhesion and the ease of use issues. 3More than enough for most people's needsWow they weren't kidding about it being 4 feet wide. I have a 60" desk and had to do a bit of clearing to fit this since it's a little wider than the distance between my desk grommets, but it was great since my desk is huge. I ended up putting this on top on the back edge of my desk because the opening seemed to work out better that way, but I could've put sticky stuff on the smaller flat side and mounted sideways underneath my desk if I wanted to. I added extra sticky squares on the bottom of this piece because I didn't think the provided sticky strip would be enough, but other than that, this wire channel was great for my needs. It does require a little bit of force to push the cables into it, but it has a good amount of room- more room than you'd think! I have many cables running through because I have 2 PCs and 2 monitors, in addition to my router, a second network access device for my work computer, and a zebra printer on my desk...oh and a lamp and a mini boombox....so I guess what I'm saying is this should be more than enough for most people's needs. This was shipped to me without a box- just shipping stickers slapped onto the raceway, which I was both happy about (less packaging/environmental concern) and a little sad about- there is a little bit of sticker junk on one side, which is visible since I mounted this on top of my desk, but it's really not that bad. This raceway plus a few Command cord clips did an amazing job at making my standing desk look presentable. 4Product Could Use Some ModificationsIf you just wanted a long thin raceway that you will probably never replace, then this product is for you (5 stars). For my needs:-1 Star Quality: The adhesive they used for this thing is super cheap. It left a bunch of paper like material even after using a heat gun/hair dryer. If you spent $100+ on your desk, than you should treat it better by buying a better quality transparent double-sided 3M tape.-1 Star Uses: The opening for the raceway should be a lot bigger since it's so damn hard to get cables inside it. You have to individually push in every cable you want to hide. Instead of J Channel, it should be renamed to G channel for how annoying it is to get the cables in it.Fixes/Summary: If you are going to use thick plastic to make a raceway, then don't make it difficult for people to hide their cables in it. I am going to make the opening wider on mine, so I can also hide power bricks in it. 3Great cable managment trackI am a bit of a cable management nut. I have tried many different strategies for managing the assortment of cables under my desk and nothing worked until I found this cable raceway. This cable raceway is well built and long enough to cover a large desk. In order to make use of the track you will need to pre plan ahead how you are going to manage the cables and route them under your desk. Once you have a good idea of how many cables and roughly where they will be in relation to the track you can stick the track under the desk. The sticky tape it comes with is very strong and I have had no issues with it since installing. Just know once you put it on, taking it off will result in needed to purchase another 3m double sided sticky tape. I mounted my surge protector and all power bricks under my desk using a double sided thick tape. I routed all the cables through the channel and now the mess under my desk is non existent. There will still be some cables showing however as you look at the photos you can see how much cleaner and organized everything looks. Great simple product. 5
