Horrible I used this cable to interface my macbook pro and my samsung TV. It doesnot transmit the vidoe clearly, There are blackouts every ten minutes. I still continued to use it, then came the real trouble. My brand new TV started showing green lines on one half of the TV and that started to repeat frequently. Meanwhile as a control, I tried another HDMI cable I had bought from Best Buy and never experienced black outs in signal transmission. And I continued to use that one, the green patches never even occured again. I am not sure if what I received was faulty, but it was a piece of junk. What a waste of money. 1Get the Amazon cable if you don't want to take a chance This cable won't work occasionally and if you do some research, you will be told that's the way it is with longer HDMI cable. I will tell you right now my Amazon HDMI cables ALWAYS work so ask yourself this question before you buy it: Is it okay to spend less and take a higher chance of having this HDMI cable not working, or should I just get an AMAZON cable. For me, my HDMI has to be routed through the wall so it's not worth the risk. I learned my lesson the hard way so hopefully you find this review useful. 2I will never buy from this company again!!! I was having a new home built, I decided that prior to builders putting up the drywall I would run HDMI cables throughout the house while my house was in the framing phase of construction. So I ordered 8 HDMI cables. My purpose for running 8 cables was to be able to attach those cables to two separate 4 port HDMI switch matrixs and connect a DIRECTV converter box to the input of each of those matrix switches which in turn would allow me to split the have two converter boxes outputs into the matrix switches and have 8 signals going to 8 different TV's. To make a long story short I ran my 8 HDMI cables to each of my locations, moved into the house a few weeks later. Hooked up my matrix switches and converter boxes and only 3 of the 8 TV's worked. After lengthy testing and the purchase of an HDMI cable tester, the tester showed that 5 of the 8 cables I purchased were bad. I will never buy from this company again. Also I learned a very important lesson, I never thought an HDMI cable could be bad upon time of purchase. I've learned the hard way to always test my cables first prior to using them. Especially if I'm going to run them behind walls or structures of my home. 1As advertised, very good. The cable is as advertised. Well constructed, correct length and works fine. I plugged it in as soon as I got it and it worked perfectly. I use it to run from my computer to my TV so that I can watch YouTube, Netflix, work on my computer using the TV as a monitor. Your TV has to be able to be used as a monitor. I would recommend the cable to anyone. 4Other cables worked fine. I eventually bought these and am super happy ... Fakespot gives the reviews here an "A Rating" so I have to believe most of the reviews are legit, but honestly these cables didn't work for me. My projector could tell something was connected, but could never seem to actually connect. Other cables worked fine. I eventually bought these and am super happy with them 4K HDMI Cable/HDMI Cord (20 feet/20 ft, HDMI to HDMI, TOP Series) supports (4K@60HZ,1080p FullHD, UHD/Ultra HD, 3D, High Speed with Ethernet, ARC, PS4, XBOX, HDTV) by KabelDirekt 1Made Our Computer-to-TV Lives Much Simpler Our TV doesn't get our Netflix or Kodi channels, so an HDMI cord from our laptop to our computer is a great idea. We've been attaching a short HDMI cable to the computer and using a wireless mouse to control it, but it dawned on us recently that that's silly. We can just attach a 25' HDMI cable to the computer and control it from any part of the room (or adjoining rooms). It's great. We should have bought a longer HDMI cord a long time ago!One of our computers has a problem with the sound coming out of the computer, instead of the speakers hooked up to the TV. And sometimes you have to unplug and re-plug in the cable to get the picture to work. This REALLY confused us when we first got the cord. We were convinced that it didn't work for a good twenty or thirty minutes. But the cable appears to work fine and this might be a computer issue, rather than an HDMI problem. No one mentioned this in any of the other revues when we bought it, so, unless other people have this issue, we're assuming that we just need to change some computer channels to be more compatible with the TV. Overall, really great, inexpensive purchase that has made our TV life a lot simpler. Would definitely recommend! 4HDMI 25ft cable works Link Depot HDMI to HDMI Cable 25 feetThese are the cheap cables. If you want less chance of getting a bad cable, or one you can run over with your chair a few times more, get amazon basics brand, they have slightly thicker rubber. HDMI is digital which means it works or doesn't. If a cheap cable works, it works as well as an expensive one. Look at the ratings: this has a pretty good rating which means that a high percentage of their cables work. Mine works. I'm happy. I decided to go with the cheaper cable this time because it just runs along the floor and is used to hook up any of my laptops to the TV. Works great. 5Save Money, I like Saving Money "You purchased this item on November 27, 2013.Length: 25 Feet (Single Pack) | Style: HDMI Male to Male "And still going strong. There are countless HDMI cables on the market that range in price from jeeeeze to OMG? Going through each brand and cable isn t necessary, as there are only two claims these cables make to justify their prices, and both are easily refuted.1. Better picture and/or sound quality. This isn t possible. The only way one cable could make your content look or sound better than another cable is if one of them changed the data flowing across them. If any of the data going across somehow gets changed, the only two possible results at the TV end are sparkles (a pixel dropping out, quite noticeable) or the entire image dropping out. It can t look sharper (or softer), brighter (or dimmer), more colorful (or muted). This would mean huge aspects of the image have changed, and HDMI cables just don t work like that.Over longer runs, the signal can degrade, but that doesn t mean the image degrades. There is no correlation between signal quality and picture quality. This is not analog. That isn t how HDMI cables work. The image will look perfect, regardless of the signal strength, up to the point where dropouts or sparkles happen. After that, there s nothing. Before that is perfect. There are people all over the Internet who claim to have seen huge improvements after switching to expensive HDMI cables. Objectively, this isn t possible. There are any number of possibilities regarding what s going on (different settings, confirmation bias, HDMI cable company employees, et cetera).2. Better made. The other common boast is that more expensive HDMI cables are better made, implying they ll last longer. Whether this is true is actually pretty irrelevant.Even if that weren t true, and let s say for some reason the $6 HDMI cable you buy lasts only two years (it will likely last longer) and you need to replace it. So you ve spent $6. How is a $100 HDMI cable that lasts four years a better deal? So, does a $10 HDMI cable make your system look or sound different from a $100 or $1,000 cable? The short answer is, Absolutely not. Audioholics did a massive article a few years ago, testing long HDMI cables. Some advice there is a touch dated, but the core of the science is still sound. I have to come away saying that most cables under 4-5 meters will pass just about anything in today s arsenal of 1080p. Or if you prefer a shorter, more succinct version, look to the more recent The Truth vs Hype about Expensive HDMI Cables: So, does a $10 HDMI cable make your system look or sound different from a $100 or $1,000 cable? The long and the short answer is, "NO. In the case that you are running cable in a permanent fashion through walls or ceilings, it may be prudent to spend a little extra for heavier-duty cables for the sake of longevity, but if you re spending extra on gold-plated connectors and the like, you are doing little more than embedding hard-earned cash in the walls of your home. High prices and gimmicks like gold-plating don t affect 1s and 0s. Our advice: Purchase your wiring online for cheap, and use the saved money to upgrade to a larger flat screen. The fact is, below 50 feet, performance is going to be a LOT more uniform. In other words, you ll have more cables that will work on everything. As such, it s even more likely that a cheap cable will perform the same as their more expensive counterparts. At short distances (under 10 feet), like we ve always said, there s not going to be any difference. Link Depot HDMI to HDMI Cable 25 feetConclusion:There is no reason to spend more money on basic HDMI cables.Again, there is no reason to spend more money on basic HDMI cables. For longer runs, the Link Depot HDMI Cable works great. 5Exactly what we needed. I received this cable quickly and it was packaged well with no damage to it or the container. My husband and I ordered this so we could stream movies from our main computer to the television. We had a smaller one, but it required us to move the computer over and sit it in the middle of the floor any time we wanted to watch a movie or a show. With this, we are able to run the cable around the room, even over a door and back down, and connect it to both. Now we can just switch the input on our television and be golden as far as streaming goes. The quality is good and we haven't had any problems.Disclaimer: This should be an Amazon verified purchase. I paid full listing price and did NOT receive this product free or deeply discounted. However, my review is still honest and unbiased. If you found this review to be helpful, I'd appreciate if you would mark it as such. Thanks! 5Cables work great for me I recently had to replace my A/V receiver with a new unit that has HDMI switching. I have purchased several HDMI cables and am now using an all-HDMI video set-up. I have one self-proclaimed 'high-end' cable. I have several of these sensibly priced cables. I cannot see any difference between these and the more expensive cable. After several months of use there are no problems. No audio issues, video noise or flashing pixels, etc. It didn't break or fly apart. One reviewer even said "it plain just doesn't work." How long could cables that don't work be sold? These cables are, and have been, working exactly as intended. And at a reasonable price. 5
