Customer Reviews

Very sturdy, charges decently wellThese cables definitely do the trick! I've bought several other USB-C to USB-A plugs and these ones charge my phone the fastest (barring the cable that actually came with my phone, although that one is USB-C to USB-C.) For reference, I own a Nexus 5X. As many other users have noted, these cables are indeed very sturdy and a bit on the inflexible side, so if you're using your phone while plugged in, it does feel a bit unwieldy and rather difficult to maneuver. The chord isn't the normal material you find on regular cable but rather a heavy duty, weaved material which is rather resistant to deformation. I primarily use them for charging when I'm not using my phone or when I'm in the car and they work very well. All in all, very sturdy cables, they definitely feel like they'll last a while!5Best cable on the market! These cables are great. Incredibly sturdy and I expect them to last a very long time. I purchased these because I was having an issue connecting my phone to my car (Android Auto) with the cable that the phone came with (LG G6). It would stop recognizing the device and kept kicking me out of Android Auto when I was using the maps. These cables have been working perfectly in my Kia Sportage and are very rugged so I'm not worried about them getting destroyed over time. I was hesitant to give one to my wife because I like them so much!5Great cables! I bought these cables as I just got a new phone which uses USB C cables to charge and I am used to having a charger in every room of my house and my car. So far these cables seem high quality and sturdy. As mentioned, these cables are much stiffer than typical usb cables which may be a problem for some, but as long as they do their job I don't mind! I am enjoying the reversible connector and fast charging that USB C has to offer! 5Thought they were great, but on second thought... Pros: I like the solid feel of these, but apparently it is only a feeling. Also like the color scheme. Seems to have no trouble working in QC2.0/3.0 mode in charging my LG V20.Cons: One of these 3 cables has nearly failed after 3 months of light use (twice per week, on average). When I say nearly failed, I mean that the USB type A end (the big rectangular end with the blue plastic insert) has apparently lost one or more of its internal connections. If I wiggle it around just a bit, it will provide charge to a device but I'd have to hold it at an angle to keep it charging. So even though it "feels solid" it isn't too durable. This wasn't a strenuous use of either. I had it plugged into a charger on my desktop so I was using far less of the 3.3ft length than I needed. Never inadvertently pulled it too hard or yanked it out of the socket. Mostly I just plugged in my V20 battery charger and set it off to the side. I only charged my phone when I needed a quick boost but didn't have my spare battery pack, which was very rare, probably 3 or 4 times in the past 3 months. If I needed a charge, I'd do that on the way home from work. Conclusion: I'm fairly disappointed that 1 out of 3 have failed in such a light use application but it could have been a genuine defective product. The 2nd of these that I'm using is in my car and is still going with much more frequent use and tougher abuse so I'm kind of baffled at this one's failure. I'll break out the 3rd one and replace this broken one with it and see how long it lasts. 3Possibly the best phone charging optionThese cables are high quality and durable. I'm leaving this review several months after upgrading from a micro usb phone to a USB C phone. I initially got some mini adapters for USB so I could continue using my micro usb cables for charging, but I eventually bit the bullet and bout a set of cables. These were the first option I went with, having used Aukey for phone-related power and data solutions in the past. I was thoroughly impressed with the build quality, the strength of the connection, and the overall experience.5The cable itself is thick and is not super flexible, pretty rigidPurchased for Nexus 5x and no problems with the cable. The cable itself is thick and is not super flexible, pretty rigid. This is good if you are looking for durability in the cable but I never had problems with the cable part itself. Whenever a cable fails it is at the connector either where the wires are soldered to the connector and the wire bends a lot at the connector or the metal plug end of the connector that plugs into the phone bends and the cable stops working. This cable is well constructed especially where the cable goes into the connector and with the type c port being thicker then micro usb I don't think the metal type c connector is going to bend anytime soon5Edit : Supports QC 3 and the Customer Service Is Top-NotchWow, my cables came and did not support Quick Charge 3. I ran several tests with my phone to come to this conclusion. Since the product details did not state specifically that it did support QC 3 I thought I made a mistake in purchasing these cables. After leaving a 3 star review Aukey left a reply asking me to contact their support. Their support stated the cables should indeed support QC 3 and are replacing my original purchase now. That is great service on a fairly inexpensive product. The cables are strong and obviously built with care.Because of the Aukey customer service, I am now an Aukey customer.Old review below. The cables are sturdy and charge a phone without a problem. They only get three stars because they will not allow my phone to Quick Charge 3. I have an Axon 7 by ZTE5Solid product and well made I own an Input Club Ergodox keyboard. This split keyboard uses a USB 3 type C interconnect that is very finicky when it comes to cables. These work fantastic. Using them right now to type this review and they're a welcome change from the 6 ft cable I had to use previously. The cables also work well in my Galaxy S8 phone. The type C end fitting nicely in the pocket cut into my case. The cabling is heavy and the weave of the overwrap is very tight. They look and feel like premium cables. Further, when you plug the cable in, you get a very satisfying and detectable click.I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend these cables. 5Rplacement arrived in 1 business day.Between two phones it lasted 3 months so time to buy them another set! they all broke at the phone port area Bad but better than the other ones I have used in past!UPDATE: The same day I originally wrote this review I received an e-mail from the sellers, sometimes it's good to read product detail it was actually covered under their warranty they didn't ask me to give the product 5 star review, all they did was asked me if I want refund or replacement, even though I have already placed an order for two sets of their 5 cables since we have two phones in the family I asked to to send me replacement, the replacement arrived in 1 business day, meanwhile the 10 cables I just bought are all tested and working, I really appreciate these kind of sellers standing behind their product, YES I am buying again and I highly recommend anyone.5Superb Good quality, works great with a Samsung s8+ 5Stiff and durable I got these cables to use with my new phone, since I couldn't use old microUSB cables anymore. I'd never bought AUKEY products before, hearing only about them via word of mouth, but these cables might've turned me into a believer. The Pros: Each end is easy to plug into their respective port and feels really durable, moreso than the cable that came with my phone. USB 3.1 Gen 1 (aka USB 3.0) helps to futureproof these cables somewhat, since phones with that standard can use the full data speed. The cables are fairly rigid and stay coiled in storage easily. The braided cord is a nice touch and the fabric is soft and comfortable to hold. The Cons: The rigidity of these cables might be a con for some, since they require a bit of work to uncoil them. They're pretty stiff.Overall, if you need a good USB 3.0 Type-C cable, go for it. This one is fantastic as long as you're in the market for a standard three foot cable. 5Great quality but no rapid charging from these cable...Great quality cables. They work very well. Although I only have a couple things that bother me. The silver shield that goes over the USB-C side eventually came off. Not really a big problem as I just super glued it back on. Also, I tried hooking up my Nexus 6p with a compliant rapid charger and did NOT get the rapid charging notification on my phone. In the description it states its able to handle 2.4A. Overall I do like these cables but disappointed that they cannot rapid charge my phone.*** Update: they sent me replacement cables at no cost which are getting better performance. So I will give them credit for their customer service.4The best USB cables! These cables are amazing and I highly recommend one. I use one at home, one at work, and one in my car and they all work great. They feel extremely well built and seem significantly more durable than the cable that came with my Note 8. As advertised, they are fast charging capable. I would definitely recommend the braided cable that these offer. Even though you lose some flexibility, I don't foresee the problems I typically get with cables where the cord attached to the connector. Because that area does not easily bend, I think that these cables will last a lot longer. Aukey continues to make great high quality USB cables!5Premium quality cables from Aukey. These cables, are premium. They are thick and heavy. They click into my Pixel 2 XL with a satisfying sound and do not come out unintentionally. I have included some photos here of some other cables I bought here on Amazon for comparison. You can see the size difference right away. I am already having problems with the smaller cables, but for some reason I can not leave product reviews on them....hmmm.... These Aukey cables are thick but bend easily although they like to hold the folded up position for a while after you get them, it does relax. Data transfer from my phone to PC works just fine over the cables. These are quality, like many things I have purchased from Aukey, they are not typical cheap fare.5Super sturdyI have had this charger for my LG v20 for a few days now and Im really impressed with the quality and feel of this charger. I really can feel the difference of the cable at the connections and on the cable. It's a little stiff but I feels like it will hold up for a long long time. All 3 cables have been tested and they all work with my LG v205
