It cannot drive passive speakers directly.
- USB DAC for Your Computer - blafili B3 also works as a plug and play USB DAC that supports up to 16bit 48kHz audio resolution. You can connect it to your laptop, PC or tablet with USB cable and enjoy high quality sound from your computer. On the blafili B3, the Bluetooth input takes precedence over the USB audio input.
- Qualcomm QCC5125 Chipset and ESS DAC ES9018K2M - blafili B3 combines Qualcomm latest chipset QCC5125 with ESS DAC ES9018K2M for the ultimate performance. QCC5125 provides low power consumption, low latency and high stability, while ES9018K2M delivers low distortion, low noise and high dynamic range.
- Versatile Connection Options - blafili B3 can be connected to a variety of audio systems, including hifi av receivers, preamplifiers, amplifiers, DACs, powered speakers. You can use the RCA cable( NOT INCLUDED ) or optical cable( INCLUDED ) or coaxial cable( NOT INCLUDED ) or XLR cable( NOT INCLUDED ) to connect it with any RCA, Optical, Coaxial, XLR spacing device. All XLR, RCA, COAXIAL and OPTICAL outputs are active simultaneously. Note: The Toslink (optical) port is output only. This product does not support optical input.
- Custom Bluetooth Broadcast Names and Passcodes - Unlike most other Bluetooth receivers, we can customise the Bluetooth broadcast name ( <= 12 characters, letters or numbers only) according to your requirements. blafili B3 devices do not have passcodes by default. However, we can set a specific passcode (4 digits: numeric only) for each blafili B3 device to prevent unauthorised persons from connecting to the blafili B3 also. BUT custom orders can ONLY be placed at blafili com or you can request the softwares and instructions from us by email to reprogram it yourself.
- Long Range - Receives Bluetooth signals wirelessly up to 33m ( 100 FT ). Removable Bluetooth antenna( RP-SMA connector ) to upgrade for longer streaming distance. Important: Bluetooth range will be greatly reduced if the external antenna is not installed.
- Silent Pairing No Beeps or Voice Prompts - Unlike many Bluetooth receivers, the blafili B3 does not play loud pairing, connection, or disconnect sounds, helping keep your listening experience clean and uninterrupted.

- Actual 1.3" Display with Protective Acrylic Window: The blafili B3 features a 1.3" diagonal display screen for Bluetooth audio status. The screen is covered by a trapezoid acrylic window measuring 4.8" top width, 5.6" bottom width, and 1.1" side height. Please note the acrylic window is not the active screen size.
