Not quite cut the cake First of all I ve used photography equipment since the Akai reel to reel camera and recorder in 1975. With 45 years of photography I wanted to establish my credentials.First of all, the unit came better equipped than described it had a built in battery and came with a memory card!Unit felt rather substantial quality.Got this as a gift for my bird watching wife so before I gave it to her I set it up and took some trial photos. Unfortunately about half the time I pressed the shutter no photos were recorded. The rest didn t quite match what was seen thru the eyepieces. 2Easy to Use! I love how easy it was to learn to use this product. It took about 5 minutes before I knew how to navigate through every icon.The binoculars work as good as you'd expect with good focus and the camera is pretty decent. DEFINITELY purchase a tripod when buying this as you can see the camera shake profusely, even with the "Camera Shake" feature on which is not bad considering you are zoomed in like crazy.The camera ONLY starts from a zoomed position so taking a picture of something in front of you might be hard to impossible unless you're trying to get up close and personal..Good product and I would buy it again 4OK Well made unit, but hard to focus on Zoom. 3... who is an avid bird watcher and she is pleased with the pictures she has taken Bought this for my wife who is an avid bird watcher and she is pleased with the pictures she has taken. 4Bright, clear optics, but only 8x magnification! Although it is labeled 30x52, it only magnifies 8x, not 30x. It is awfully big and heavy to carry around for so little magnification.Instead, consider getting the "Easywin Portable HD Full Metal Super Clear Dual Focus Telescope Optics Zoom Monocular Scalable Telescopic Telescope For Camping Hunting Sports" (also from Amazon). Though it is listed as 10x to 90x magnification, it's range is actually 8x to 35x. The optics are excellent, the focus is razor sharp and easy to fine tune, and it lets in almost as much light as this Eoncore monocular, so it can be used at night. But it is much smaller and lighter than this Eoncore scope, and fits easily in your pocket (which this Eoncore monocular definitely does not).This Eoncore scope is clear and sharp and produces a bright 8x magnified image (not 30x), but I can't justify carrying the extra weight and size when the Easywin scope is just as sharp, but magnifies from 8x up to 35x and is small enough for a pocket.This Eoncore scope can be used while wearing your glasses (the Easywin scope cannot - it has very short eye relief). Also, be aware that the lens caps will keep falling off (annoying), though they are attached, so at least you won't lose them. 4Very good binoculars and camera, easy to use I wanted light weight binoculars with a built-in camera for birding, and for taking photos & videos of wildlife and scenery. The binoculars are easy to focus, and the camera far exceeds my expectations; especially when using it on a solid surface or with any size tripod. I'm very pleased with the videos & photos I've taken withOUT a tripod too. This is a nice little pair for those of us who are amateurs. (Picture of squirrel is a 'capture' from a video I took with this camera.) Dowloading both photos & videos to my PC is easy using the attached usb cable--just plug it into camera & pc, choose mass storage on your camera, and they load onto the pc. I recommend this item. 5pretty well made the binoculars but the camera is not ... pretty well made the binoculars but the camera is not looking through the binoculars, you have to check the camera to make sure it is seeing what you are seeing. and the zoom is separate, not based on the binoculars view. 4Disappointing I was disappointed with these binoculars. They are hard to use, but the worst thing is that they have to be recharged, and if you forget, there you are with no binoculars,as they don't work. I'm going back to my regular old binoculars. 1A great idea with a couple of shortcomings. These binoculars are a great idea and I like to be able to capture the images I am viewing. The camera takes good pictures, in the opinion of someone who is far from a photographer. However, the image you see through the eyepieces is NOT the image you'll get if you don't aim the camera lens at the subject using the LCD screen as a viewer. It's really more like a separate camera and a pair of binoculars rolled into one unit. I also find it kind of hard to aim the camera lens accurately at the subject using the LCD screen but I think it's something that you get used to eventually. Furthermore, the binoculars are not as powerful as I thought and are no improvement over my old pair. Overall, I'm glad I got this, and the price is pretty reasonable. The product seems durable and is compact and well made. 4The connection to PC works well 1 Delivery process (Must not be included in my review)I have on September 26 finally received my Eoncore 2 Digital Camera Binocular.The delivery process has been seriously delayed in Norway because of wrong handling by the carrier UPS. The Amazon status of my order has been Refund issued from September 12.I expect that I will receive a payment instruction for cancelling the refunded amount.2 My reviewThe camera takes good pictures. The image you see through the eyepieces is not the image you get in the camera lens. This should be described in the product specifications. The unit consists of a separate camera and a pair of binoculars. However, I mostly use the camera and the LCD screen, and have mounted the unit on a tripod. The connection between the unit and a PC works well. You can download the photos and videos to the PC.
