Just pinch it and shove it into the button housing and it works fine. Just seems a bit steep of a price ... I have old Mag Lites. These buttons are the correct size but the underside has a rubber "nub" that I had to chew off little by little with a pair of nail clippers. It wouldn't fit otherwise and would pop off.Yeah, you only get one per order. It's all I needed. Just pinch it and shove it into the button housing and it works fine. Just seems a bit steep of a price for a little chunk of rubber, though. 3Just what I needed. I carried my rechargeable Maglite for many years. I still have the same one I used on duty for all those years and now use it for everything from hunting to household light emergencies. The switch covers wear out over time. These fit as expected. 4meh You will need a sharp bade to custom fit this into your 3cell led maglite. 1/16" off the rubber nipple in the inside of the button, and about a 1/32" off the bottom of the border of this button. Prior to doing this, the seal would not fit. Going to see how it goes now... however, I am paranoid about the seal flying off. Try contacting Maglite as someone on this forum suggested previously. 2It may require a little trimming to fit into original as original replacement. You may need to trim the outer edge so it fits into the original hole. After this it works great. 4Works for a magcharger with a modification Bought this for an old Magcharger incandescent. Had to trim the plastic knob on the bottom, but works perfectly. 5Three Stars Did not fit my maglite without trimming. The light stayed on constantly until completed. 3Works great with a little help It's a sturdy little button. It didn't fit for our maglite because it had a knob on the inside and the flashlight did too. But I used a sharp knife and trimmed it off and it fit perfectly :-) 4Works just fine as of right now Works just fine as of right now, but the big issue is that it seems to be two-staged, almost like a military trigger on a firearm. Only after you depress the button several millimeters are you met with the ACTUAL button, at which point you depress with slightly more force to activate the flashlight.Pretty annoying when it's probably the difference between a millimeter or two of rubber on the bottom of this thing. A stock button only takes the slightest amount of effort to turn the flashlight on. This thing has a travel distance before anything happens. 3Did the job :c[ Didn't fit well at all for my 20 year old 4 D cell Maglite. Obviously they are trying to make a one size fits all button for switches that are different. Anyway I suppose I will try cutting it like the other reviewer did. If I can't get that to work I will lower my rating to one star.UPDATE: cut the inside nipple off and that did the trick. They should instruct people that they may need to cut this off depending on the maglite they have. 4Had to cut a bunch off to fit my 4 batt mag light. Ok so it fits bit had to cut the middle off the button was pushing down on it and keeping it on, and had to trim off about half the outer ring to get it to fit into the grove, might have to glue it into the spot around the outside as I dunno of it will stay it seems way to move in and out now. 2
