Customer Reviews

SDHC Class 10 at reasonable price Class 10 SDHC cards are great if you take lots of photo the speed of storage after taking a photo makes or breaks your ability to get that just right photo you might otherwise miss. Transcend offer a good value per GB and preforms well. It amazes me what Memory cards use to cost a lot more per storage size. Even though the price has come down over the years because of use. Just because an SDHC card has more storage the price from small to larger is quite a bit even thou the memory chip is house in the small plastic case. seems like the manufactures are making a killing on what it cost to make and what they sell it for on the market. Glad to see that when the market is flooded with inventory the price of these SDHC cards of higher storage come down for sale at reasonable prices. 5Very reliable cards, I've been using Transcend for many years I'm a professional photographer and I test photo gear for a living and so I go through a lot of memory cards (I tend to retire some cards and archive them if it's an important shoot--a simple way to archive) so I'm constantly buying cards. Funny, when I started out with digital cameras I was using 512K Compact Flash cards, now I'm regularly using 32 or 64 gig cards--and I have dozens of them. I think that these Transcend cards are a bargain and while I think that the highest level of SanDisk cards might be faster, these are pretty darn fast. And for the price, a bargain. I've been using Transcend cards for many years, since they were first introduced, I think, and I have only had (knock on wood) one card fail on me and that one was really beat from being used on the road for several years. I have complete confidence in these cards. 5Great read speeds, slower writes -- 86 MB/s read, 35 MB/s write. I picked this up a few months back, and it is a pretty good card for the money. It's fast, and just about lives up to the speed advertising on my Mac, but the write speeds leave something to be desired (compared to other cards advertising similar speeds).I get 86 MB/s read, but only about 35 MB/s write speed with this card. I've seen other reviewers who've tested writes at closer to 45 MB/s, and I've noted that the speeds do seem to improve if your write is sustained enough (this is opposed to most cards, which seem to start fast and then slow down in testing)For the price, this speed isn't bad - however, Amazon has some great sales on Samsung Pro cards that write nearly twice as fast for just a few dollars more (64 GB is $35 at the moment, compared to $30 for this in the same size)I don't regret this purchase, and I use it all the time, but I'm not sure I'd buy it today with the aggressive price/speed competition from other cards. 4Transcend SD Plenty of stability and reliability in Transcend and all of it's cards. I have had plenty of different of company cards. Transcend falls in the middle of the price spectrum, but for what I've paid, I've never had any fail, thankfully. I've even washed a few on accident and thankfully they have continued to work but also the data was still on them. This is probably my 40th Transcend Card. 5GoPro HD camera card I purchased this memory card to use it with my new GoPro HD camera. I was a little nervous because I've read that the GoPro cameras can be finicky about which memory cards they work with and Transcend is not among the memory card brands that are recommended by GoPro. However, the price seemed really good for a Class 10 card of this size, so I decided to give it a try.I am happy to report that the card seems to work fine with my GoPro HD. I've typically been recording at the 720p60 setting, which GoPro lists as having a 15 Mbit/s data rate. I've also used it on the 960p30 setting, which is listed as having a 12 Mbit/s data rate.I also use it in my Canon, it works great there as well. 5VERY Fast SD Card!!! This is a WONDERFUL SD card! I recently bought a new Olympus OM-D series camera, which shoots just under 20 frames per second easy with the right settings. I have been shooting digital for a long time now, and buffer lag has been just another annoying and unchangable part of life. With this class of card, and this card in particular however, I have yet to stop shooting to wait for the buffer, even when firing 12 frames per second burst shots! I also like the lifetime warranty Transcend gives with their products; giving me a very comfortable feeling!!! I highly recommend this product, and I will be purchasing more soon! 5Tons of memory !! "I have bought Transcend SDXC cards before and they work great. I use this for my video recorder and it has not let me down. The Transcend 16GB High Speed Class 10 UHS-1 SDHC memory card is one of the fastest SDHC-type memory cards you can currently find on the market. This is great for transferring images from your card to your PC or Mac using your computer's SD card reader. Works just fine/ put it in my camera and just shoot perfectly on my flash memory. Was able to take lots of picture and never worry if I was going to run out of memory. It is a great memory card for the price. Actually works well in a DSLR for HD video without crashing like other cards I've tried that were supposedly also Class 10. I already bought another one. Excellent cards and very speedy for the price. Exactly what I needed for my camera. With all the photos I took on vacation,I still have enough for several more vacations. I love recommending this product." 5Fast and reliable SD card that lives in my DSLR. I've gone through many SD cards in the past 10 years or so and have been very happy with the performance and reliability with the Transcend and SanDisk brands. I've never had one fail on me, but needed to upgrade due to the increase of file size on newer cameras. I think one of my first SD Cards held 64MB - not practical to use any more since my RAW files are 16-17MB each!Prior to purchasing this card, I was using a 16GB SanDisk Extreme 45mb/s with my Sony A57. I never had any problems with this card, but wanted something with a bit more storage since I have been shooting more HD video. I compared the 32GB SanDisk with the 32GB Transcend and opted for the latter because it was about $5 cheaper at time of purchase.I don't think you could go wrong with this Transcend card or the comparable SanDisk card. Both are great, have lifetime warranties and offer 45Mb/s write speed. 5Transcend looks like the winner of these three cards I bought 3 cards including this one, similarly priced lexar Lexar Professional 633x 32GB SDHC UHS-I Card w/Image Rescue 5 Software - LSD32GCB1NL633 and sandisk SanDisk Ultra 32GB Class 10 SDHC UHS-I Memory Card Up to 80MB, Grey/Black (SDSDUNC-032G-GN6IN).I took continuous shots for 10 seconds and calculated how many shots taken, how long it for camera to write all files to card. I am posting my results on a d5300, raw, manuel focus, lens cap on with manual mode.I did not test read speeds of these cards.Transcend looks like the winner of these three cards. 5fast! I have collected a few camera memory cards over the last while. I thought I d systematically check their performance and make a table of the results (attached)I tested using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test v. 2.2.2 using the 2 GB stress test over several iterations and noted the average performance. The card reader is a Lexar Professional USB 3.0 dual slot reader model LRW300U Rev E. I also tested the cards using the internal SD slot of my computer. All cards were formatted in a Canon 7DII.The transcend was the fastest of my SD cards. 5
