Having trouble getting 2560x1600 @ 60hz? Fix below: GREAT cable so far. Latches grab on and don't let go. Perfect picture 50ft away @ 2560x1600/60.- I moved my computer to the back bedroom.- Ran a displayport through my wall to my computer room.- It worked fine at first, but then it started losing link constantly to where the monitor would go completely black randomly.- Replaced that old cable with this Tripp Lite 50ft.- When I booted, I could only select 1280x800. I had no option for 2560x1600.- So I found this: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1605511It tells you exactly how to enable the higher resolutions if it's not automatically detected by the cable. I followed those steps and when I rebooted it defaulted to 2560x1600 and all is right in the world. SO FAR I have not had any link disconnects on this cable. I will update if it starts acting up as well. Fingers crossed.UPDATE:Monitor still blinking on and off at random so the cable didn't solve the issue. It is either the length of the cable I require (may need an active range extender), my video hardware, or my monitor. I have now changed video cards and so far so good. I will continue to monitor to see if the other card works better. I still believe the cable is worth 5 stars. 5Works great! I am using this cable to connect my MacBook Pro's CalDigit TS3 Plus dock to a 27" Asus monitor. No issues whatsoever with quality or performance. I'm pushing 2560x1440@144hz, which is a bit of data without a problem. 5Good cable for high resolutions The plastic clips feel kind of cheap but it holds on fine and the cable seems real solid. I'm OK with the plastic clips though since it probably helps keep the cost down. The important thing is the quality of the wires. I was worried the 10 ft. length wouldn't handle the 2560x1600 resolution of my Dell U3011 monitor. I'm happy to report I haven't noticed any pixilation or tearing. I can run Heaven 11 benchmark at 60FPS without issue. 5No problems My Acer XG270HU 27" 1ms 144HZ Monitor would not run at anything more than 60HZ.... Finally my buddy told me to get DisplayPort 1.2 or higher cables .. BOOM! 144HZ all day.. I had to change the setting in the display properties but that was it.. My DVI-D Cables lacked the proper throughput to deal with 144HZ. Even older HDMI cables weren't up to it.Only Con is that the latches can be a little stiff but you get the hang of it.10 ft long and work great. No problems 5Good cable Very good cable 5Good product Arrived on time and work great. No issues with the cables and they are pretty easy to install. The cabling is a bit thicker than I thought it would be, but no problems. 5No Quality Control After running the 15 foot cable through my monitor stand, through and under my desk, IT came to my office and determined that the new cable was bad. Quality control is nonexistent. 1What I needed Works as expected 5Couldn't carry ultrawide 2k @ 75hz. Couldn't carry ultrawide 2k @ 75hz. 1Great! No issues here. This cable works great. The picture quality is perfect and I don t experience any weird issues such as flickering. I am using this cable to get a cleaner install and reduce the extra cable clutter with a micro form factor PC mounted behind my monitor. 5
